Geologist
of the Hindustan Zinc Limited has made an outstanding contribution in
locating a sizeable deposit of Pb-Zn at Rampura - Agucha, Bhilwara
district, Rajasthan, which has been estimated to contain over 35
million tonnes of ore with 10 percent combined Zn-Pb. In recognition
of this significant contribution Shri Rampuria has been awarded the
National Mineral Award in the field of applied geology and mineral
exploration.
