RESEARCH CONTRIBUTIONS 

The .main area of research and teaching of Dr. Vinod Agrawal is Environmental Geology. Having more than 14 years of experience in the above field. Various aspects were studied and highlighted viz., (1) Environmental impact Assessment of Mineral Sector Activities specially for small scale mining and mineral based industries (2) Groundwater quality assessment and health impact studies (3) Fluoride and fluorosis problem in Rajasthan (4) Urban geology and urban environment including morphology soil, terrain analysis, morphometry analysis, landuse, land capability, slope analysis, urban solid waste, air and noise environment, urban industrial relationship etc. (5) Occupational hazards among women and male workers of mining sector activities (6) Environmental education and awareness.
